About Columbus Claims AssociationEstablished in 1929, the Columbus Claims Association consists of more than 300 members throughout central Ohio. The purpose of the organization is to cultivate good fellowship, to exchange information concerning matters of interest to the membership, to vigorously combat fraudulent claims, to promote the highest ethical practice in claims work, and to promote professionalism among the members. Current members include those employed directly in the insurance industry, attorneys, investigators, body shops, auto parts companies, glass companies, car rental companies, fire, smoke, and water restoration professionals, engineering firms, temporary housing companies, and jewelry replacement companies. Available memberships include Active, Associate, Lifetime, and Honorary. Meetings are held every other month as well as the infamous annual picnic and golf outing. As a note, bi-monthly meetings will be moved to The Buckeye Hall of Fame Café effective May 2006.
